Please help me translate a song my grandma used to sing to me as a child its very important
Lyrics: Csiga-biga gyere ki, Ég a házad ideki. Kapsz tejet vajat, holnapra is marad. Csiga-biga, told ki szarvadat! Ha nem tolod, összetöröm házadat. ... Ég a házad ideki, Ha nem hiszed, tekints ki, Majd meglátod ideki. Csigabiga, gyere ki! Szebb világ van ideki. Bújj ki kapud aljába!...

I've found this:
Slug bug come out, your house burns outside.
You get milk butter, is left for tomorrow.
Slug bug, push your horn out!
I shatter your house if you do not push it. .....
Be on fire your house outside,
If you do not believe it, look, you'll see outside.
Snail, come out! There is a more beautiful world outside.
Come out into the bottom of your gate! ...

Hello! For some time I have been listening to the Hungarian dub for Danny Elfman's This is Halloween, and I really like, but I don't know the words, so I would like to get it translated, thank you.

Here's the song:

"És mikor azt kérded: Hé ki van ott? Én leszek ott, csak én vagyok ott. Én vagyok árnyék a síron túl, Megrémül s a hajadba túr."

And when you ask: 'Hey, who is there?' I'll be there, I am only there. I am a shadow beyond the grave.  Struck with horror and ruffle through your hair.

PS: In the last sentence I couldn't quite find out who is talking and referring to who, but I hope this approximation is enough for you.

This is Helloween

Dear guests, lookee, all of you
Wicked Grinch is sharpening his knife for you
Come on in, it's better inside than outside
Halloween welcomes you
This is Halloween, it's already Halloween
Jack-o'lantern, which hides a candle
This is Halloween, all of them are frenzied dudes
If there's no chocolate, don't be surprised, if we cheat
This is how it'll be, this chocolate is due to me
Halloween is waiting for you today
I hide under the bed and I'm peeking from there
I stare with pointed teeth and glowing red eyes
I am who peeps under the stares
My fingers like snakes drag you into the depths
This is Halloween :// 2x
Halloween :// 4x
If you lived here what would you hear?
A pumpkin song soars on bat wings
Our city, dust alights on the walls
Dust covers the surprise waiting for you

Hej, maga Táltos Hold-Anya,
Útra ha lépünk, míg hazaérünk
Kísérd a léptünk, vezess haza.

[Flame of the night, Your loyal son's guardian
Hey, you shaman moon mother,
If we step on the road, till we get home
Guard our steps, lead us home.]

Új hold, éji dal, lángot szél kavar,
erdők fák nesze, virág éneke,

szólítom magát Táltos Hold-Anyát.

I have a friend who starts a company and wants to translate the description of it in English.

Szervezetünk Külföldi cégek alapításával, és a megalapított cégek segítésével foglalkozik, ha céget szeretne Angliában, vagy Németországban, mi olcsón és gyorsan segítségére lehetünk, anélkül hogy kiutazna.

What could be the best translation ? I promise that's the last question :)

Thanks again

""" Our organisation deals with with the foundation of foreign companies and helps established companies. If you want (to found/launch)  [***in HU it literally only says "if you would like to have a a company", in EN another verb would probably sound better***] a company in GB or D, we can offer you cheap and fast help, without the need of traveling. [as in his customers don't need to go abroad to make the deal / founding the company] """

The English is just 1:1 translation on the spot before I hit the sack. With some effort you can probably phrase it better :)

there are two terms in Hungarian: jogállam and also demokratikus jogállam. Could anyone tell me, what's the initial meaning of this word - jogállam, precisely is it british "Rule of Law" or german "Rechtstaat"? Can I translate the first term as the Rule of Law and the second as "democratic constitutional State"?
by Heflamoke (DE/HU), 2013-09-02, 22:31  Spam?
Yes you got it right.

jogállam = Rechtsstaat / state of law

demokratikus = democratic

see also here Rechtsstaat

Which one you choose, depends on the context.

(1) Az elsőfokú bíróság hatáskörébe tartozó ügyekben az egyesbíró, illetve a tanács elnöke helyett tárgyaláson kívül bírósági titkár is eljárhat; a bírósági titkár jogosult továbbá a 202. § (2) bekezdésében meghatározottak szerinti bizonyítási eljárás lefolytatására. I don't know for what exactly you need this but I recommend a professional translation if it's even close to important. Legal texts are hard to translate without knowing the appr. terms in the other language. Most Hungarian laws are translated by the EU or by lawyers. You can probably google it.
military ranks in UK and US » answer
by majaya (DE), Last modified: 2013-08-27, 07:43  Spam?
I noticed we have a little problem with the military ranks in the United Staates and in the United Kingdom.

For example: a sergeant in US has not the same military rank as a sergeant in UK.

I try to correct the inputs with the help of Wikipedia, but I'm not a specialist for military ranks. So I suggest to use the NATO-Codes to specify the Inputs.....

Any comments?
by Heflamoke (DE/HU), 2013-08-29, 23:36  Spam?
I try to avoid to vote on anything like that because Nato vs US vs UK vs any other army/country is just confusing. The translations we had HU->X were "common" ranks that are about the same or have the same a linguistic origin. I wouldn't add more or go into more detail there, but then again if you have to time to figure it all out and the disamb. is correct, why not.
by majaya (DE), 2013-08-30, 11:24  Spam?
It's only the ranks of army and ir force because Hungary hasn't any navy forces.
Of course there are common translations of naval ranks, so I will only add the NATO-Code on the english side (with the help of Wikipedia).

I don't correct any common rank translations of other rank systems (e.g. police...), so I concentrate only of army and air force ranks.

to disperse
to scatter

vidul (as verb, vidulás -> noun)

to cheer up
to brighten up
to make merry

This one I didn't find but I'd translate it with

drabness (of life), greyness, cloudiness, cheerlessness etc in a fig. meaning

So the
"Boruját meg széleszd:
Légy te vidorabb."

would mean "Scatter / Disperse the greyness and be more cheerful"
Here also a German translation.  #716659
